Norris & Elliott's process reengineering methodology consists of 5 fundamental steps shown below:

  1. Process survey to graph the existing architecture, explicit or implicit, as well as its relationship with the business objectives.
  2. Proposal for changes according to different impacts on profitability and levels of investment and feasibility.
  3. Consideration of existing culture and restrictions.
  4. Support during each phase of the implementation process, which includes coaching and / or mentoring if required.
  5. Resources for monitoring, such as the scorecard and others.
